Two Steps Up

We fund or advocate to reduce costs on what works.

Two Steps Up is a North Carolina nonprofit supporting education, research, access to care, and the development of advanced integrative technologies, wherever they solve a genuine problem for real people.

Empower individuals by fostering purposeful growth, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity, and driving innovation and research.

Our work spans four areas: education, research, access to care, and the development of advanced integrative technologies. Nervous system health is an area we know deeply, but it is not the boundary. We fund what solves a genuine problem and makes a measurable difference to someone's well-being and quality of life.

That means keeping solutions within reach of everyone, including social organizations and underserved communities, through education, coaching, partnerships, and funding for health care innovation. The aim is democratized health care that supports community well-being and holistic development.

More about who we are and how we decide

We fund

Scholarships and direct grants that pay for care, education, research, and the building of tools that work. Money moves from donors to the individual, initiative, or project that needs it.

We advocate

Funding is not the only way to open a door. We work with partners across the community to have services offered free, on a sliding scale, or at a reduced rate. Often the most effective thing we do is not write a check but change what someone is asked to pay.

Two ways to be part of it

Give

Every donation goes directly to an individual, an initiative, an educational program, or the development of an integrative technology. No one draws a salary here, so nothing is absorbed on the way.

If cost is what stands between you and care that would change things, tell us. There is nothing to upload and nothing to prove. We ask you to think, not to produce paperwork.
